Dr Josep Maria Bosch Fontcuberta

Doctor in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona with the qualification of “Cum Laude” (1993), with the thesis “Non-Verbal Communication of Depressive Syndrome in the Elderly”.

Specialist in Family and Community Medicine (MIR, 1983-86) at the Family and Community Medicine Teaching Unit of Barcelona.

He has developed his healthcare activity at the ICS (CAP Maragall, 1990-2023). In his teaching work, he has been Associate Professor of the Faculty of Medicine (Hospital Sant Pau, UAB 2007-2023)

Collaborator in more than 60 scientific publications, book chapters and participation in more than 30 national (and several international) Family Medicine congresses.

Co-director of 4 doctoral theses and collaborative research participant in several consolidated lines of research

Award for Professional Excellence 2010 awarded by the Official College of Metges of Barcelona.

A great expert in the quality clinical interview, without barriers, he focuses on the humanistic doctor-patient treatment, on obtaining the maximum overall well-being of the patient and on providing easy tools for stress control.
