Dra Cristina Claret Torrents

Graduated in Medicine from the University of Barcelona (2005).

He studied the specialty of Endocrinology at the Hospital del Mar in Barcelona (2007-2011). He has presented various communications at conferences and has published several articles in national and international journals.

Awarded at the XII Edition of the Ramon Trias Fargas Biennial Research Award from the Catalan Down Syndrome Foundation, for her work on hypothyroidism in children with Down Syndrome. He has recently won the prize in the Endocrinology category at the XXI Century Medicine Awards (Madrid, April 2021)

He is a member of the American Thyroid Association (ATA), the Spanish Society of Endocrinology (SEEN) and the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), as well as the research group on iodine deficiency and thyroid dysfunction of the Spanish Society of Endocrinology.

Founder and director of IBADE since 2016. Specialized in thyroid and parathyroid pathology. Accredited by the SEEN in performing thyroid ultrasounds. Interested in comprehensive patient care and clinical research in the field of thyroidology and micronutrition.
